Bibb Salad
My favorite lettuce is Bibb, and there are a few varieties of this lettuce that I like to grow. North Star for very early spring and late fall cold frame garden, but the basic Boston Bibb is the standard. The semi compact head, meaty leaves and sweet taste make it a perfect lettuce. Add to those the fact that it is easy to grow perfect heads every time, puts this variety on the top of my list! Now add sprout to this and you have a perfect salad. Bibb Salad
- 1 large head or about ten large leaves
- 1 fresh carrot grated
- 1 ripe avocado cut in ½” chunks
- 1 cup Sunflower Greens chopped
- 1 cup Radish Greens chopped
- Mix the dressing right on the salad
